Edgewood Valley Country Club was founded in 1910 in La Grange, IL and moved to its current location in 1926. William Diddle, a very well known course designer during this era, designed the golf course. Significant efforts have been made over the years to maintain the unique design features he originally installed.

The course plays longer than its yardage due to the well-bunkered and narrow fairways that wind through the tall oak trees. #3 is a short par-4 with a severe dogleg.
